Khia is funny as hell

She is like the female version of 50 Cent, she always has beef. Shout out to he homie Illseed over AHH.com!

50 mocks Kanye at Powerhouse

Oh, I remember it like it was yesterday, going to those Powerhouse concerts here in Philly that happen every year around this time. Back then it was folks like Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, Kwame, Kid & Play, Salt N Pepa heading the bill. Damn those were the days! Now we have a gorilla & a chipmunk going at it. 50 cent needs to come up with something better than picking fights all the time because it's starting to get a little played out. Of course dissing in hip hop will never be played out, but I'm tired of this gorilla thinking he is King Kong. They say 50 was there to replace T.I., and he donned the white stunna shades and mocked 'Ye in "Stronger". Afterwards Kanye came out with Beans & Freeway and basically said 50 is mad because he makes wack music. Of course I wasn't there to see it but girlfriends niece was. So here's 50 looking like the gorilla he is:

Smif N Wessun ~ Stomp

Featuring Joell Ortiz & Rock from the group Heltah Skeltah. I just noticed that they are back to using the name Smif~N~Wessun. I remember them going through some legal issues with the gun makers over the name. Hmm, them Brooklyn boys must have won. I like Cocoa Brovaz better, but whatever. They are still holding down the underground after all these years. They are never mainstream but I had to post them here due to the fact they aren't all that conscious.

If Issues Were Tissues...

Greetings everyone! I'm still alive in case you cared! I've been wondering if you guys missed me, because I sure have missed you! I'm having major computer issues right now. Somebody slipped my laptop a mickey and it's acting goofy. I'll have somebody look at it tomorrow, but it looks like it's a hard drive situation. Meanwhile I went and pulled out my old dinosaur of a computer that has Windows 98 on it because I just couldn't take it anymore. I'll be back to posting when I get my weight up. Until then I'll be wearing the same face as the Onyx poster above.

Jena 6 Reenactment ~ The "Blackface" Edition

I read about these fucking idiots on Smoking Gun today. I now feel like choking the bullshit out of some random white girl. I know that's fucked up & MLK wouldn't appreciate it but that's the first thing I thought when I first saw this video. See how easily ignorance rubs off? I'm going to pray on it, and hope God forgives me. Please join me.

Black Mexican/ Black Ugly

I don't know about you but this video had me rolling! It just about sums up my hate for all things Lil Weasel & Dripset.  Why is it necessary for Juelz Santana to repeat every line he thinks is the hotness?  Can anybody explain to me why Weasel even exists?

Roll Call ~ Hip Hop & Jena 6

Bun B on his way to the Jena 6 rally this past Thursday in Jena, Louisiana. Good for him, I knew there was a reason that I liked UGK. It sure wasn't because of Pimp C. Rappers Mos Def & David Banner were there as well. Hmmm... hold up,*scratches head*... that's it? I know more than just those few rappers came to show support. Not even one rapper from the Lou? SMH. Mos Def talks about the lack of hip hop's face (or voice) in the place in this XXLmag.com article.

Pittsburgh,Pa rapper Jasiri X goes a step further and calls out names in his song Free The Jena 6. He puts just about every artist from the area on blast in this song and asks them to step up in support of the Jena 6. I'm feeling him on this, and these days what's a better platform to spread the word to the masses than hip hop?

I Rock!!! Yea!!!

Yea, I got an award of sorts from my girl Invisible Woman. I am very excited about this, I feel like I'm moving up just a little in the blogging world. I'm very new to this and I appreciate the fact that people take time out of their day to check in on me. Believe it or not this has inspired me to take this blogging thing a little more serious. I'm supposed to name other girl bloggers that I think rock so here goes:

Thembi

JustMeWriting

Sista Toldja

The Beatniks

CapCity

I'm too tired right now to inform my nominees tonight, I'll tell them tomorrow. Good night all.
